OneJax Announces CEO Elizabeth Andersen to Conclude Tenure in August

Dear OneJax Friends and Supporters,

We want to share an important update with you. After a meaningful period of growth and transformation, CEO Elizabeth Andersen has made the personal decision to conclude her tenure with OneJax in August in order to pursue extended travel abroad with her family. Following thoughtful reflection with Board leadership, she and the Board agreed this is the right time for a leadership transition that supports OneJax’s continued growth with strong, Jacksonville-based leadership.

During her tenure, OneJax strengthened its strategic direction, expanded signature programs such as Interfaith Dialogue, Sandy Miller OneYouth, Breaking Bread & Barriers, and Bridging the Gap Jax, and built a strong foundation for long-term impact in our community.

“Serving OneJax has been one of the greatest honors of my professional life,” Elizabeth shared. Board Chair Jerry Mallot added, “We are deeply grateful for Elizabeth’s leadership and the lasting impact she has made in our community.”

The Board has begun a thoughtful transition process, with former Executive Director Nancy Broner supporting continuity.

Thank you for your ongoing support of OneJax and for helping build a more respectful, connected, and understanding community. We are grateful for your partnership and confident in the road ahead.
