We are delighted to welcome Martin “Marty” Goetz and Pat Geraghty to the OneJax Advisory Council. Both are past OneJax Humanitarian Award honorees whose decades of leadership and service reflect a deep commitment to building a stronger, more connected Jacksonville. Their longstanding dedication to the work of OneJax and its predecessor, the National Conference for Christians and Jews (NCCJ), has helped shape the legacy we carry forward today.

Marty Goetz brings decades of distinguished leadership in eldercare through River Garden Senior Services, along with a meaningful history of service to OneJax and the broader Jacksonville community. His insight, dedication, and steady leadership have made a lasting difference, and we are honored to have him join our Advisory Council.

Pat Geraghty joins us with more than four decades of leadership in healthcare, business strategy, and organizational excellence. His tenure as Chief Executive Officer of GuideWell Florida Blue reflects a career defined by vision, growth, and a strong commitment to community; we are thrilled to welcome Pat’s perspective and experience to the Advisory Council.

As Humanitarian Award recipients, both Marty and Pat embody the spirit of service and civic leadership at the heart of OneJax. We are grateful for their willingness to share their time, talent, and wisdom as we continue advancing our mission.

Day of Service Recap

YT%20Thumbnail%20(2).png
The 2026 OneJax Humanitarian Day of Service brought together volunteers, community partners, and honorees to make a tangible difference across Jacksonville. Together we were able to assist Feeding Northeast Florida with packaging over 3,000 pounds worth of potatoes to distribute to the community. The energy and compassion shared that day truly embodied the OneJax mission of building understanding and respect among all people.

We’re proud to share a special recap video highlighting these moments of connection and service.

The countdown is on—our 2026 Humanitarian Awards celebration is just one month away! This year’s event will take place on Thursday, April 30, and we can already feel the excitement building. We’re especially thrilled to introduce our emcees for the evening: Allishia Bauman and Isaiah Oliver!

Allishia and Isaiah each bring incredible energy, authenticity, and heart to everything they do, and we couldn’t be more honored to have them guide us through a night dedicated to celebrating compassion, community leadership, and the spirit of humanity. Their voices will help bring each honoree’s story to life—and we know they’ll make the evening even more meaningful for everyone who joins us.

Tickets are still available at onejax.org, and sponsorship opportunities remain open for those who want to support this powerful celebration. We can’t wait to see our friends, partners, and community gathered for an unforgettable night honoring those who make Jacksonville—and our world—a kinder place.
